Bronaugh FCCLA Attends Regional Meeting in Joplin
by Jackie Linn
January 18, 2008
The Bronaugh FCCLA attended the Regional Meeting at MSSU in Joplin. This is an annual meeting that all of the FCCLA members are allowed to attend. This year, the motivational speaker was Ryan Moran. His speech was about being part of the "POSSE" and not excluding yourself or other people from anything. He said that if you exclude people from your life, you may pass up some potentially good friends. The Bronaugh FCCLA Chapter currently has sixty-one members and fifty-five were in attendance, along with Mrs. Linn and Mrs. Beattie. During the meeting, the chapter was presented an national award for increasing membership, which was accepted by Katherine Kerbs, Secretary.
We would like to give a special thanks to all of the people who supported our booth at the Fall Festival. These funds will help us throughout the year with our many projects and activities. We still a few fleece throws for sale if anyone is interested. Also, a big thanks goes to members who helped work that day. It was much appreciated.
