
This is the group that braved the cold temps and went to Carver National Park in Diamond
On Saturday, April
12, Mrs. Forkner and Mrs. Dodson, along with several students and
parents, ventured out in the cold weather and headed to Carver
National Park in Diamond, Missouri. We spent time shopping in
the Gift Shop, touring the new Discovery Center, and taking a one
hour tour along the Carver Trail.

State Leadership Conference in Columbia, MO on March 30-April 1.
Those attending were Tessa Ussery, Nick Judd, Katherine Kerbs, and
Cameron Bott along with advisor Jackie Linn. Members attended

The senior class used cardboard,
aluminum foil, and duct tape to build these parabolic
reflectors. The object was to get the highest light reading
on the light meter. The reflectors were based on the properties of
parabolas. The seniors put their new knowledge of parabolas to use
while trying to build the better reflector. . . .
