Students Welcome Steve Hoye home from Iraq

Students enrolled in the after school program in grades 3rd through 5th recently made welcome home cards for local service man Steve Hoye. Steve recently returned from Iraq after spending 6 months there. The students have been learning about Character Ed and thought that this would be a nice gesture. They all made their own cards that expressed how glad they were that he was home and that he was safe.
They walked down to take them to Steve who spent a few minutes talking to the students about what it was like over there and he answered any questions that they had. We are all very thankful for his safe return and look forward to talking with him more.
