Water and Boat Safety

Vernon Co. EMT's come to Summer School

by Gina Dodson

June 16, 2008

On Monday, June 16, the Bronaugh Summer School students were visited by the Vernon Co. Ambulance.  The EMT's talked to us about water and boat safety.  The students learned some important things such as you should never swim alone, you should always call someone for help, you should always wear a life jacket while you are in a boat, and you should never drive through high water.

The students and teachers then asked several questions pertaining to water safety.  We learned a lot and we hope we will be better aware of what to do if we are faced with an accident around the water.
