Our Character Education program is in its 10th year. It improves school climate and strengthens student character. It emphasizes the development of respect, responsibility, fairness, honesty, citizenship, and trustworthiness. It encourages the development of leadership skills and positive daily choices. It cultivates minds and nurtures hearts. It's definitely a program that is working in our school.
Each week throughout the school we will profile a young person who is doing their part to make the world a better place. We will also be participating in several community service projects throughout the year so be watching for ways you can help our community.
"Character is like a tree and reputation like its shadow. The shadow is what we think of it; the tree is the real thing." Abraham Lincoln
