Bronaugh R-7 School recently held a Practical Parenting Partnerships event “Back to the Future.” This was an opportunity for parents of students in Jr. High and High School to spend the morning with their child at school and see for themselves what it is like to be a student today. They participated in math class, science, social studies and music - a fun time was had by all. This is going to be an annual event with plans to hold it earlier in the school year to go over MAP prep items. Parents as Teachers also held an event “K for a Day” in which students who will be in Kindergarten next year were invited to spend the morning in the Kindergarten classroom with Mrs. Forkner. Based on current numbers, it looks like we will have at least 26 in next years Kindergarten class.
