The Character Education Program and the Bronaugh School are going to participate in 6 community service projects throughout the school year starting in October and finishing up in March. All service projects will benefit patrons of our community. The following is a list of our service projects for October, November, and December. Please help your children learn compassion for others by participating in our community service projects.
October: Send our troops letters of support and emails. You may also wish to donate a box of items to be sent to Chris Haynes who is currently serving in Afghanistan. Some items include Skittles, Chex Mix, fruit snacks, gum, peanut butter and crackers, corn nuts, and granola bars. This project will run October 1-26.
November: Thanksgiving Food Baskets. Send non-perishable food items for 2 Bronaugh families to enjoy during the Thanksgiving Holiday. (Canned vegetables, peanut butter, breakfast cereals, crackers, macaroni and cheese, lemonade, koolaid, spaghetti and sauce, etc.) This project will run November 1-18.
December: Toy Drive. Send unwrapped Christmas gifts that include both boy and girl gifts, ages infant to teenagers. (Suggestions include Barbie’s, Hot Wheels, mittens, scarves, perfume, lip gloss, fingernail polish, brush set, cologne, socks, etc.) This project will run December 1-16.
Please help us help others and teach our students the importance of doing the things in life that matter most!!
