Bronaugh FFA goes to Indy - National FFA Convention 2010

The Bronaugh FFA attended the 83rd National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana October 20th thru October 23rd 2010.  Representing Bronaugh FFA this year was Ruger Cox, Susie Hartman, Samantha Whitworth, Chance Wait, Derek Stark, Tori Hagerman, Advisor Travis Wait and his wife Dana.  The students:

- Participated in leadership sessions

- Heard from speakers Josh Shipp and Judson Laipply

- Attended a career success tour to Elanco Animal Health

- Worked behind the scenes with the National FFA Courtesy Corps

- Toured the National FFA career show and had access to hundreds of agriculture     businesses and Universities from around the country. 

- Saw the sights in downtown Indianapolis

- Attended the Lady Antebellum concert and the FFA rodeo.

- Celebrated that the current National FFA membership is at 520,284. This record total represents a jump of more than 10,000 over the previous record membership of 509,735 set in 1977.  Agriculture Education is as strong as ever!!!

- Had a blast while representing the Bronaugh FFA with over 52,000 other FFA members from around the country!
