Character Education is more than textbooks and standardized tests. It is about preparing students for success in school, work, relationships, and life! It takes everyone in our community working together to develop young people into adults we can admire and trust. We as adults need to set limits, expect young people to be respectful, and help them perform to the best of their ability. Character development continues to be a driving force to student success. Please join with me and the Vernon County Task Force as we include the “Character Words of the Month” for 2011 in all that we do!
