After School April 2011 Newsletter

Our After School year is almost complete. Our last day for After School will be Friday, May 6th, 2011. We have had a very successful year. We have offered a variety of activities as well as tutoring and homework help. We had to deal with a few weather issues this year and I apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused, but we must put the kids and teachers safety first. Parent and student surveys will be placed on the sign-in table and we would appreciate it if you would take a few minutes to fill them out so we can make improvements and reach the needs of the students and their families.
We will take our spring field trip to Webb City to the City of Flags site, Frisco Trail, and the House of Bounce. Permission slips may be picked up in After School or from Mrs. Forkner. It will take place on Saturday, May 14 and we will be leaving at 8:30 am and returning at approximately 3:30 pm. A reminder that all students in grade 3 and under must have a parent attend with them. If you have any questions feel free to call Mrs. Forkner at 922-3211.
