Grandparents Day Celebration

Bronaugh School held a grandparent night event on Tuesday, September 18th at the school. The program was opened by superintendent Mr. Best. The students in grades Kindergarten through fourth sang 3 songs under the direction of elementary music teacher Sharon Pruitt. After the performance the students and grandparents had cookies and punch in the cafeteria before going to individual classrooms for activities. Kindergarten with Ms. Stacy Clinton made picture frames, 1st grade with Mr. Sarah Morris painted a picture of what they like to do with their grandparents and children in 2nd, 3rd and 4th played BINGO with teachers Mrs. Kathy Wait, Ms. Whitney Hinkle and Ms. Kylie Kitsmiller. There were over 100 grandparents who attended and plans are being made for next year. The next event at the school is planned on Friday, October 12th when Practical Parenting Partnerships and the Afterschool program will join forces to host the annual Reading Carnival from 4:00-5:00 in the cafeteria.
