Bronaugh Preschool celebrates "Read Aloud Month"

March is National Read Aloud Month, and to celebrate the Bronaugh preschool had a school board member, Saundra Bogart come and read to them.  She read the book “Here we go round the Mullberry Bush” by Iza Trapani. The book is a retelling of a favorite nursery rhyme where a determined gardener has a lively cast of critters eat all her plants and vegetables. Delightful art depicts the antics of the mischievous animals as they lead the gardener on a chase 'round the mulberry bush. When she had finished reading, the students shared stories with her about their experiences of planting a garden and various animals.  The students also read their sight words for Mrs. Bogart.  Studies show that reading aloud is the single most important thing you can do to help prepare for reading and learning.
