All About Me

Hi! My name is Becky Forsythe and I teach 9th-12th grade social studies. This will be my 2nd year teaching and my 2nd year here at Bronaugh. I am also the assistant volleyball coach and junior class sponsor.
I’m from Farmington,
Missouri, which is about 70 miles south of St. Louis. I graduated
from Farmington High School in 2001 and I earned my B.S. Ed. in
Secondary Social Studies from Southeast Missouri State University
in 2006. Most of my family and friends still live in Farmington and
I make the 5 hour trip to visit them as often as I can. I have 2
sisters, 1 brother and 4 step-brothers. My favorite people in whole
world are my niece, Isabelle, and my nephews, Owen and
Ashton.
My goals as a teacher are to help students develop an appreciation
for our historical past, learn valuable skills to help them succeed
in all areas of life and encourage students to become active
citizens in their community.
I am looking forward to another great year at Bronaugh!
