Mrs. Herring Welcomes You

Hello, and Welcome to FACS - Family and Consumer Sciences. I am looking forward to my 4th year of teaching at Bronaugh Schools. I teach a variety of classes that focus on the broader family and society issues that lead to the career pathways of Human Services. I am also the sponsor of FCCLA - Family Career and Community Leaders of America.

I live in Frontenac, Ks with my husband Paul who is a professor in the Plastics Department at Pittsburg State University, and our two daughters, Rachel, a junior at Frontenac High School and Jackie a sophomore at FHS. In my spare time I like to read, swim, scrapbook, cook and take part in our families activities. Indy, our Bishon Frise keeps us company!

In late July, I attended the Missouri ACTE Conference, meeting with the Mo Facs Educators for the week. It is a great way to get re-energized and to learn new teaching ideas for the upcoming year. I am excited for the new school year.
