The Bronaugh R-7 Preschool is designed in collaboration with The Creative Curriculum® to provide the most effective and enjoyable learning environment for its students. There are a number of centers for the children to explore: Discovery, Dramatic Play, Games & Puzzles, Library, Music & Movement, Computer, Art & Writing, and Blocks.
The morning begins with circle time. The children are able to choose which helper they want to be for the day, say the Pledge of Allegiance, discuss topics related to the weekly theme, sing and dance, review the calendar, check the weather, as well as other fun activities.
The highlight of the day is choice time. Choice time occurs twice each day allowing the preschoolers to actively choose center(s) in which to “play”. What the children do not realize is that the toys they are playing with have been especially selected to promote social/emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development.
