                                                  KINDERGARTEN NEWS

Can you believe it’s already the fifth week of school!!  The kindergarteners are

learning so much.  We learned about letters S, T, U, V, and W; and continue to sound

out short vowel words.  We are also reading simple books.  We continue numbers 1-10,

but next week we are starting our Everyday Math book.  I will send home an Everyday

Mathematics book on Monday that has ideas and ways to help your child learn math at

home.  You can look through it and use it if you find time.  I think all the kids are doing

super, learning a lot, and behaving extremely well.  Don’t forget Fall Festival is next

Saturday.  It will be fun!!

I’m sending home October book order forms.  Please look through them and see

if there are any books you would like to purchase.  Please return the order form with

your child’s name on it and check made out to SCHOLASTIC BOOKS by Tuesday

October 2, 2007.

If you have any questions about what we are learning or would like to visit our

classroom, please feel free to check in at the High School office and join us.  My room

is ALWAYS open for parents!  Have a great weekend!
