Some Things About Me!

Hello.....and welcome to the 4th Grade!! I can't wait for the new school year to begin.  I am looking forward to meeting my new class and teaching you new things.  I hope you are getting excited also.

I thought I'd tell you a little about myself.  I'm getting ready to start my 27th year of teaching at Bronaugh.  I started teaching here in 1983.

I am married to Daryl who teaches High School Math at Nevada and I have 3 daughters.  Katie lives in Denver, Colorado where she works for Kiewit Construction Co.  Mandy is getting ready to start her 2nd year at PSU where she is majoring in Physical Therapy, and Kori is a Junior in High School at Liberal.  We live in a house in Liberal that we built ourselves, and  we have a dog, Max, that likes to pester the cats...and eat....and sleep.

This summer we traveled to Denver to visit Katie.  While there we went to the mountains and hiked on a trail.  We also went to Kansas City to watch the St. Louis Cardinals play the KC Royals.  It was a hot day but it was a lot of fun.  I have been a true and loyal Cardinals fan for many years.

Parents are welcome to come by and speak with me at school anytime you feel the need arises.  I am usually in my classroom by 7:30 each morning and stay after school until around 5:00 each afternoon.  You can also contact me by using my email:  gdodson@bronaugh.k12.mo.us
